Terms of Service

By using AyahEcho (the app, website, and related services), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

AyahEcho helps people follow Quran recitation and salah by recognizing ayat and liturgical phrases and showing or playing translations in a chosen language. Features may include Listen (on-device mic recognition), Follow (subscribe to another user’s live recognition), History, and related account features. Features may change as we improve the product.

Accounts and eligibility

• You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• Recognition (Listen / broadcast) requires a signed-in account and an active recognition entitlement. Following a live session may be available to guests.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass entitlement or rate limits, or disrupt others.
• Do not use recognition or broadcast in ways that violate applicable law or the privacy expectations of people around you (for example, recording or streaming where you lack permission).
• Do not reverse engineer or abuse APIs except as allowed by law.

Religious text and translations

Recognition and translations are provided as a convenience to help you follow along. They may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. AyahEcho does not claim to replace scholarly or official religious guidance. You are responsible for how you rely on the output.

Subscriptions and payments

Recognition may be offered through paid entitlements (for example via the App Store or Google Play). Billing, refunds, and cancellation for store purchases are handled by the store’s rules. Complementary or tester access may be granted at our discretion and may be revoked.

Intellectual property

The AyahEcho name, branding, app, and software are ours or our licensors’. Quran text and third-party translation editions remain subject to their respective rights and licenses. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as the stores or we expressly allow.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, recognition accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AyahEcho and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the app and request account deletion as described on Delete account.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
