Delete your account

Last updated: August 8, 2026

You can request permanent deletion of your AyahEcho account and associated server-side data. This page explains what is deleted and how to ask.

How to request deletion

  1. Email support@ayahecho.com from the same email address associated with your AyahEcho sign-in (Google, Apple, or email OTP), or include enough detail for us to identify the account (for example your public ID).
  2. Use the subject line Delete my AyahEcho account.
  3. We will confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

What we delete

  • Your account profile (display name, public ID, entitlement flags, visibility settings).
  • Server-stored Listen / Follow History and favorites tied to your account.
  • Recognition feedback records associated with your account, where stored.

What may remain

  • Short-lived operational logs that are rotated in the normal course of running the service.
  • Data we must retain for legal, security, or accounting reasons (we minimize this).
  • Content already delivered to other users during a live Follow session (ephemeral rooms end when the broadcast stops; followers’ own History, if any, is separate).
  • Purchase records held by Apple or Google under their policies (manage subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play).

Guest use

If you only used Follow as a guest without creating an account, there is typically no cloud account to delete. Clear the app’s local data or uninstall the app to remove on-device data.

Privacy

For how we handle data more broadly, see the Privacy Policy.
